California leads on awareness and Marin is the lead in California.  It is time for a loud and clear message for an important and much needed transition to a cleaner and healthier environment. As our California Senator, Mark Leno said San Francisco Earth Day Festival, 2016 that California is the foremost innovator in Environment, Alternative energy and understanding Climate change. This is a clear message that Marin should take the lead to inspire, teach and stimulate the people of the world to support the Earth!

Last year at a CMCM Media Mixer we featured Chris Hardman of Antenna Theater and his presentation on the San Francisco "Magic Bus". Chris made an appearance at the Marin Earth Day in San Rafael at the Elks Mansion, and than at the Varda, Summer of Love in Sausalito. LOVE seems to tie in with the Marin Earth Day 2017 & Marin Green Fair. In 2017 we brought it altogether. It's been 50 years since the Summer of Love, "if ever there is a question, Love is always the answer". Let's Love and care for our planet. If you have not been doing so already, the very best thing you can do personally is to reduce your consumption pf all processed foods and animal products. Begin practicing and enjoying an  organic vegan diet which is best for the Earth and for our own health with  a plant based diet.

It is time to celebrate our heritage and who we are. In so many ways, we set the example for the rest of the planet, it is up to us to put our best foot forward.

Besides dance bands, Marin Earth Day also featured musician-songwriters, who wrote songs for Earth Day and performed them last year, we plan to do this again. Our keynote speakers in 2017 covered the following topics:  Climate Reality in Marin, GMOs, Ocean Health, a Plant based diet, Reducing our dependency of oil, Fracking, The Celebration included how Summer of Love ties in to World Peace. In 2018 we would like more input from our community and more topics and activities. Please contact us at www.marinartists@hotmail.com if you would like to participate in any way, or have ideas for this event.

Ideas and information are also welcome.  The more we all stand up and agree that our environment, animals, and humanity need our care, support and involvement, the closer we are to pulling together as one world. We will keep you informed of any developments and updates on this website.
